Job Description Insight Global is looking for a contractor to join one of their financial clients. The person in this role will serve as a business analyst in the AFS Vision conversion squad leading discovery work, writing user stories, validating test cases, and performing other functions as necessary to enable successful conversions from our legacy systems to AFS Vision. Skills required for this role include: · Experience mapping data between legacy systems and AFS Vsion. · Strong understanding of the AFS data model including currents, futures, obligations, and process types. · Familiarity with AFS Vision conversion extract, transform, and load processes. · Experienced in validating conversions including data and financial validations. Other responsibilities may include: - Ability to work independently, meet with line of business and ask questions to gain an understanding of their requirements. Critical thinking skills would then take those requirements and break them down into the lowest level what so that functional design can be completed. - Ability to collaborate with team members that are more technical and communicate those requirements in a way that allows the tech team members to understand them and determine the proper technical design. - Ability to create clear and complete Test Acceptance criteria and execute the testing to ensure accurate output during Unit and UAT. - Capable of creating and executing SQL scripts for ETL/data testing. - Conduct research and Development based on current trends and technologies related to the banking industry, data engineering and architecture, data security, and related topics. - Provide Support and troubleshooting for data platforms. - Plan and work on internal projects as needed, including legacy system replacement, Monitoring and analytics improvements, tool Development, and technical documentation. - Provide guidance and mentoring for other team members. - Manage and prioritize multiple assignments. Skills and Requirements Must Haves: • 5+ years’ experience with AFS in an operational, business analyst, or tech support capacity. o Experience working with AFS Data Model • Experienced in conversion validation and reconciliation processes including data and financial validations. • Experience with ACBS to AFS conversions including mapping and extract, transform, load process. • Experience with AFS L3 to AFS Vision data mapping. • Experience with extract, transform, and load process for converting data from AFS L3 to Vision. • Knowledge of AFS data hierarchies including currents, futures, takedowns, obligations, and process types.
