Job Summary
Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.
This position is full-time based on-site in Raheen, Limerick.
The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with digital and data solutions. This role works closely with stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that business needs are clearly understood, effectively translated into technical solutions, and successfully implemented across systems.
The Business Analyst also supports digital integration efforts, maintaining accountability for solution delivery and system alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.Develop process maps and flowcharts to visualize and optimize business processes to the most granular level of the business problem being solved.Identify, analyse, and create stakeholder maps early in the project lifecycle.Prepare and maintain comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).Translate business needs into clear, actionable goals and break down complex requirements into user stories or use cases.Prioritise user stories and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders based on impact and urgency.Act as Product Owner during project phases, ensuring business needs are reflected in solution design and delivery.Maintain accountability for digital solution implementation and system integration.Delegate system ownership responsibilities where appropriate, while retaining overall accountability.Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.Serve as the point of contact for requirement clarifications and ensure the final product meets user expectations.Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.Participate in daily/weekly standups, manage backlog items, and provide feedback on completed work.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with business users, developers, and project managers.Review and sign off on prototypes, wireframes, and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).Evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions.Analyse data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities; collaborate with IT to develop data visualizations and reports.Support or lead project and change management activities, including risk identification, stakeholder engagement, and progress tracking.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.Proven experience in Business Analysis, Digital Integration, or a similar hybrid role.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and digital delivery methodologies.Experience with tools such as JIRA, Visio, and data visualization platforms.Preferred Skills
