Location/Division Specific InformationOur global Clinical Operations colleagues within our PPD® clinical research services provide end-to-end support for clinical trials from study start up to monitoring through to study close out, across commercial and government contracts. Together, we help clients define and develop clinical programs, minimize delays, and execute high-quality, cost-efficient clinical studies.
Discover Impactful Work:Leads the preparation, negotiation and finalization of contracts process with an assigned workload of sites. Liaises and establishes effective relationships with clients and internal functional teams, as directed by leadership. Ensures quality, objectivity and risk analysis in the efficient delivery of contract templates, process and negotiation parameters. Serves as lead for internal and external clients
Purpose of the RoleThe Business Analyst is a meticulous and diligent professional supporting the elluminate platform. You will improve our clinical trial processes by translating requirements into effective solutions.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business requirements from collaborators by leading workshops and 1:1 interviews.Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for development and system configuration.Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and scalability by bringing to bear elluminate functionality.Assess current systems and processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for automation or improvement, and lead efforts to increase adoption among key functional areas.Collaborate with internal technical teams and software vendor (eClinical Solutions) to ensure successful delivery of solutions.Support system testing, deployment, and post-implementation optimization needs.Build documentation including process flows, use cases, test plans, work instructions, and job aids.Provide support for end users following system implementations or updates.Lead small to medium-sized projects and track timeline, tasks, issues, and risks.Lead or participate in Process Improvement / Excellence projects.Stay current on industry trends and new technologies that could benefit the organization.Ensure solutions align with security standards, data privacy regulations, and organizational policies.Skills and ProficienciesKnowledge of clinical data and ICH-GCP, CDISC and other applicable regulationsKnowledge of Data Visualization & Collaboration platform(s) within Clinical DevelopmentExperience implementing and supporting information technology systemsCapable of working independently while being a great teammate to a diverse team of multidisciplinary colleaguesProject management/lead experienceExperience managing partners (vendors)Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skillsProficient in English (written and spoken)Education, Experience, and QualificationsBachelor’s degree or Master’s degree – medical, para-medical (Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Veterinary etc.) or Information Technology or equivalent by experience2+ years of experience in a Business/System Analyst or similar role4+ years of experience in Clinical DevelopmentExperience at vendor side (CRO or/and Software) for Clinical Development is a plusExperience supporting Medical or/and Clinical Science teams in scaling adoption within Data Visualization & Collaboration platform(s) is a plusThis role is perfect for someone who is exceptionally motivated and ready to take on new challenges.
