**Business Analyst – Internal Software** **Long term contract** **Hybrid - once a week onsite in Chelsea, MA** **37.5 hour work week (7.5 hour work day)** We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join our team, with strong UX instincts and rapid prototyping skills to support our internal software applications. This is a hands-on role centered on gathering requirements, leading stakeholder discovery, and creating wireframes and mockups that accelerate product iteration. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead workshops and discovery sessions with internal stakeholders + Create mockups and wireframes using **Balsamiq** , **Lucidchart** , or similar tools + Translate complex workflows into **testable** , **clear user stories** + Act as a liaison between internal users and the IT team, effectively communicating user needs and technical limitations. + Gather and document requirements for system enhancements, translating business needs into technical specifications. + Develop and maintain clear and concise business requirement documents. + Analyze and improve business processes through technology solutions, aiming to reduce manual tasks and enhance user experience. + Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of software updates and new features. + Balance multiple initiatives and projects, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting implementation deadlines. + Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Convey complex product details effortlessly to diverse audiences, fostering clarity and understanding. + Display a keen eye for detail, strategically applying it where necessary to ensure precision and accuracy in all endeavors. + Embrace a critical thinking mindset, unafraid to pose questions and explore uncertain answers, driving continuous improvement and innovation. + Demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities, capable of independently identifying and resolving challenges.
