Business Analyst
Location:  Springfield, VA

Responsibilities

Duties:

Provides expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as: engineering and technology; policy and administration; planning; analysis; training and development; facilities; communications; business; and management.Ensures that quality is an integral part of the development, design and manufacture of products or services.Monitors products and services throughout the life cycle; validates/verifies adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities.Works closely with assigned staff, senior specialists or task leads. May direct the activities of specialists or other staff as necessary on activities related to the specified field or discipline. Qualifications

Required:

Demonstrated experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional business area. Experience may be broad-based crossing multiple markets (i.e., government, industry) and may also include relevant/associated certifications and knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices.Demonstrated experience coordinating with the NSG to integrate solutions into the GEOINT Enterprise Architecture (GEA).Demonstrated experience responding to outages in a timely manner for the time dominant environment. The time-dominant environment is defined as 24x7, with rotating schedules to support a fully staffed open-source watch desk in support of NGA.Demonstrated experience managing commercial GEOINT imagery utilization, tradecraft, and PED advancement within the NGA and ASG and across third-party partnershipsDemonstrated experience managing integration of new data sets across multiple classified and unclassified domains to both US Government and Allied systemsDemonstrated experience driving efforts to secure and integrate new commercial GEOINT data and service capabilities in support of initiativesDemonstrated experience increasing understanding of stakeholder operational and strategic requirements while championing sustained engagement with the NSG and the Global GEOINT EnterpriseDemonstrated experience participating in the testing, evaluation and validation of commercial imagery sources to ensure they meet vendor specifications, contract milestones, and program commitments
