Job Description
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support the overhaul of a key property registration system. This role is central to replacing outdated digital infrastructure and improving how land ownership records are managed. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand needs, identify inefficiencies, and help shape user-friendly, future-ready solutions.
ResponsibilitiesLead collaborative sessions to uncover business needs and understand current workflows and challengesDevelop and maintain artifacts such as user profiles, experience maps, and functional narrativesDesign and document system behaviors through diagrams, mock-ups, and structured use casesValidate findings with domain experts and translate them into clear, actionable specificationsPartner with developers and testers to ensure solutions align with business goals and pass user validationContribute to training materials and procedural updates to support new system rolloutsAssist in managing organizational change and ensuring smooth adoption of new processesTrack the impact of implemented changes and identify areas for ongoing refinementCoordinate with compliance teams to assess risks and ensure privacy and security standards are metSupport project tracking, reporting, and scheduling activitiesAnalyze existing documentation and collaborate with experts to define rules and logic for document handling in the land registry systemEssential Skills4+ years of experience as a business analyst translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements in an enterprise IT environment4+ years of experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows3+ years of experience in facilitating and managing business process development and process re-engineering workshops and sessions3+ years of experience with user acceptance testing, including creation of user acceptance plans, status reporting, and managing assigned tasks3+ years of experience with written and verbal communications, including drafting strategic business and technical documentation2+ years of experience working within an agile development environmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor Degree in IT or related field.2+ years of experience assisting in reviewing, evaluating, and providing test input during business requirements and detailed design specifications2+ years of experience evaluating policies, programs, and initiatives using program development principles2+ years of experience exploring multiple design solutions to a given problem or feature and communicating those visually2+ years of experience analyzing process maps, descriptions, and data flow diagrams of complex business processes2+ years of experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments2+ years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of complex IT solutions2+ years of experience in the development of project documents for various initiatives and projects
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
