Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting tools for enterprise and/or hosted products. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will act as a proactive change agent in an agile project team, driving your assigned products forward. Engage directly with Product Owners and other experts to elicit business requirements, document these requirements using standard templates, and work with team members to pinpoint and implement high-value changes.

About the Role:

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will:

Provide metrics-driven dashboards and monthly data analysis to support informed business decisions and ensure timely monthly billing.Participate in crucial meetings, provide updates, and plan studies of work problems and procedures such as information flow.Present findings and solutions to business units and facilitate agreement on solution selection and implementation.Work across various groups to implement solutions aligned with strategic goals, enhancing service quality.Ensure the successful functioning of newly implemented data models and statistics through regular consultation with relevant personnel.Disseminate data-driven strategic recommendations and gather feedback from leadership.Handle the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of client business needs and requirements.Develop and enhance business processes within the technology and business organizations, ensuring clear definition and understanding of client requirements.Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions as required.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.Use a structured requirements process to assess near-term needs and adhere to metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.Manage change systematically and communicate changes effectively for complex projects.Develop a deep understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services.

About You:

You’re a fit for the role of Technical Business Analyst if you have:

A strong background in an Agile environment with a comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle.3+ years of experience in business analysis techniques, such as eliciting requirements through interviews, workshops, process modeling, and system or document analysis.A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.Experience with PowerBI and advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.Proven ability in working with technical projects and coordinating with global clients.Skills in cost analysis and forecasting.
