**Introduction** A business analyst helps businesses improve their processes and systems by analyzing data, identifying problems, and recommending changes. They also work with stakeholders to ensure that new products and services meet business needs. **Your role and responsibilities** A Business Analyst with ADM skills is a non-technical domain functional consultant who has a strong understanding and working experience with the SDLC. They excel in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation. They possess strong impact analysis and gap analysis abilities, effectively managing stakeholders and users while facilitating requirement workshops. Proficient in process and use case mapping, they analyze business cases and guide technical and vendor teams. The cornerstone of their skill set is exceptional communication and analytical skills, enabling them to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, with the ability to liaise between lines of business and the development team. **Required technical and professional expertise** Business Analyst (Technical BA) The candidate should have very good written and oral communication skills. Ability to understand business requirements and skills to break it down for the technical team Knowledge of any technical stack will be useful. Key Responsibilities: · Documentation: o Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for various projects, including user manuals, technical specifications, and process flows. o Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders. · Analysis: o Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. o Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear documentation. · Proactive Engagement: o Engage proactively with team members to gather necessary information and provide updates on documentation status. o Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and requirements. · Presentations: o Develop and deliver presentations to communicate technical information, and business insights to stakeholders. o Create visually appealing and informative presentations using tools such as PowerPoint. Skills and Qualifications: · Organizational Skills: o Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation. · Self-Motivation: o Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and resolving issues. o Self-motivated and proactive in engaging with team members and stakeholders. · Communication: o Strong verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. · Analytical Skills: o Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical documentation. o Ability to analyze and improve business processes. **Preferred technical and professional experience** o Document detailed meeting notes and action items. o Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. · Tools and Technology: o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. o Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or similar. o Experience with project management and issue tracking tools such as Jira. o Familiarity with ServiceNow Knowledge Management or similar platforms.
