**CTG is seeking to fill a Business Analyst 2 position for our client in Austin, TX.**
**Job Type:** Consultant
**Duration:** 12 months with potential for extension
**Location:** Austin, TX (hybrid remote)
Hourly and salaried options available
**_Position will be 3 days remote with 2 day (Tuesdays and Fridays ) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY._**
**_Candidates must_** **_already_** **_reside in Texas._**
**Duties:**
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
• Formulate systems that align with overall business strategies
• Reengineer business processes and identify new applications of technology to solve business challenges
• Prepare solution options, identify risks, and conduct financial analyses such as cost/benefit and ROI evaluations
• Write detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and development/modification steps
• Support ongoing modernization efforts for Medicaid applications in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment
• Provide oversight for application enhancements, integrated project initiatives, and dependent system efforts
• Assist in creating standardized processes and documentation to support system integration initiatives
• Collaborate with multiple MES vendors and serve as an IT stakeholder in enhancement initiatives
**Skills:**
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business systems
• Proven ability to work in Agile and SAFe environments
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of business process mapping and reengineering methodologies
• Familiarity with solution design, risk analysis, and cost justification
**Experience:**
• 4+ years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs
• 4+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
• 2+ years of experience preferred in a SAFe environment
**Education:**
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
