As a Business Analyst for Chubb’s market-facing platform, you will play a key role in enabling our partners to generate new business autonomously and be more efficient in managing existing business. You will also play a pivotal role in optimizing the platform’s functionality and user experience. This is a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and articulate business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs and platform functionalities. This involves demonstrating strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.Create user stories and acceptance criteria that accurately reflect business needs and requirements, working closely with the IT team to ensure the delivery of high-quality features, utilizing business insight to align with organizational goals.Project Execution:
Participate in sprint planning and prioritization sessions, ensuring that business value is maximized in the product backlog, applying project management skills to organize and manage resources effectively.Actively support the Agile development process by attending daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing insights to enhance efficiency and product outcomes, demonstrating operational excellence.Documentation & Communication:
Support the creation of business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process maps to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with underwriting and operations teams to ensure that platform enhancements meet their needs and streamline workflows, leveraging systems thinking to implement holistic solutions.Maintain strong relationships with IT and data teams, ensuring alignment on platform developments and integrations, and required participation in testing.Performance Measurement & Reporting:
Create and present regular reports to stakeholders, summarizing project progress, insights, and recommendations for future enhancements.Beneficial Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on actionable insights and business outcomes.Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an easily understandable format to diverse audiences.Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation software.Knowledge & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.Full proficiency in French and English.Good level in Spanish and other European languages like French, Dutch, German is a strong plus.Previous insurance experience is a strong plus.Strong abilities in conducting research, data analysis, and complex problem solving.Excellent collaborator and strong interpersonal skills.High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.What we offer in return:
