\nDHL Express is seeking for a Business Analyst, based in Diegem, Belgium.
You will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and optimization of the Restricted Commodities Group systems (RCIR, RCTS, and AAS). Your support is expected for the whole suit of the Global Network Support Group.
Additionally, you support the reporting and analysis within the Global Network Management (GNM) team. This includes producing existing reports in the GNM reporting landscape, such as the GNM weekly scorecards, capacity reports, Restricted Commodities (RCG) reporting etc. and to assist in consolidating data for network planning/what-if scenario analysis. You will work in conjunction with the Global Aviation BI teams (BICoE and DevOps) from a dedicated air and road perspective, for the regional and intercont Network Planning, Network Control and RCG teams.
Systems and Tools
\n\nSupport the implementation and global roll-out of these systems in conjunction with Global IT, external vendors and other business stakeholders.\nTo support the design, development/UAT testing and implementation of all tools within the GNM landscape, with main focus on RCG systems.\nTo liaise with user community understand, document and prioritize business problems and opportunities.\nTo liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the requirements are fully documented.\nClarify issues raised by the IT supplier or user community, through liaising between all parties to resolve issues with win-win outcomes.\nCarry out the preparation of a structured test approach, execution of functional integration and regression testing followed up by the co-ordination and preparation of user testing and release to production activities.\nAssist in maintaining all supporting systems documentation (bulletins, user manuals).\nProvide business support and training for these systems for all regional teams.\n\n\nReporting/Analysis
\n\nSupport production and distribution a number of reports to support our key stakeholders, including but not limited to, the Global monthly load factor report, GNM weekly scorecard, Heavyweight (HWO) compliance report, On-time performance (OTP) report etc.\nTo provide front line business support for any issues/questions relating to reports within the GNM reporting landscape e.g. capacity, performance, RCG etc.\nTo liaise with key stakeholders to gather the requirements for all new reports and ensure they are fully documented, justified and agreed (CR’s, POA’s, BRS’s etc.) prior to handing over to BI partners for development.\nFully support in the UAT (user acceptance testing) of all new reports and reporting change requests in line with the reporting roadmap.\nTo provide all required data analysis to support both the Network Control and Network Planning teams effectively manage the network and generate presentations as required for various operational steering groups and strategic planning committees, including the Network Ops ExCom, GPPRB.\nTo support the convergence programs to Global BI platform (Teradata) e.g. RCG.\n\n\n\n\n\nDo you have what it takes?\n\n\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in an analytical, project orientated or wide operations role\nExperience in liaising with senior managers both within the organization and outside\nIn depth knowledge of DHL Express Operations. Aviation, Network Planning, Network Control and RCG knowledge is preferable\nAccess, PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills are essential with database query skills preferable\nProven experience in data analysis with highly developed analytical thinking and problem solving skills\nHighly motivated with an ability to manage varying workloads against timescales\nFluent in spoken and written English with well-developed communication skills\nKnowledge of SQL/ SQL manipulation tools is preferable\nKnowledge of DHL RCG systems (RCIR, RCTS, AAS) and DHL operational systems (NMIV, AHS, OCNT, SABLE) is preferable\nBachelor degree or equivalent industry experience; a background with transportation, computer science, statistics is preferable\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
