- Develop forecasting models for metals price trends, benchmarking LME & SHFE fluctuations, and analyzing trade policies.
- Analyze TC/RC pricing structures & raw material sourcing cost, refining economics, and competitive positioning within the metals sector.
- Assess cost structures across the metals value chain, including mining, transportation, processing, and by-product recovery.
Investment & Risk Advisory
- Evaluate the financial feasibility of new State of art technology processes and assess their impact on business growth.
- Monitor geopolitical and economic risks in key metals-producing regions and assess supply chain vulnerabilities.
- Support investment proposals through cost-benefit analyses and scenario modeling for strategic capacity expansion.
Cost & Profitability Forecasting
- Work with finance teams to develop pricing models for by-products like sulfuric acid, gold/silver, and secondary metals.
- Provide financial insights for negotiations on feedstock sourcing and refining contracts.
- Align CAPEX and OPEX models with long-term financial viability and ROI, ensuring validation with the finance team.
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Economics, Metallurgy, or Business Analytics.
5-10 years of experience in commodity market analysis, financial modeling, or metals trading.
