This role is a Business Analyst for Exterior & Structural Systems & ICE Powertrain & Thermal Systems Team.  This role will be responsible for Design Validation (DV) & Purchased Service (PS) budget forecasting and continuous analysis of status throughout the year. This role will also be our centralized DV & PS order entry person, coordinate movement of parts, and be involved with supplier communication which allows more time for our engineers to engineer.  In addition, this role will help reduce spend in DV & PS - pushing back on business need, cost, and also adherence to Sarbanes Oxley.

You'll have...

Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. 5+ years of experience as a business analyst. Basic knowledge of Engineering Process. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powepoint, etc). MS Excel - experience with pivot tables, conditional formatting, VLOOKUP, additional functions. Experience with Purchasing Tools - GPIRS & Ariba. Experience with exterior part cost analysis.

DV Material and Purchased Service Budget Forecasting - using historical data and trends to aid teams on accurate forecasting. DV Material and Purchased Service Budget Tracking & Analysis of committed vs actuals vs budget throughout the year. Creating reports for management teams on Budget Status.

What you'll do...

Automating Budget Forecasting, Submissions, & Tracking. GPIRS and Ariba DV Material and Purchased Service Order Analysis for Business Need, Cost, and adherence to Sarbanes Oxley Financial Law. GPIRS and Ariba DV Material and Purchased Service Order Entry - deep knowledge of PO creation, receipts, and invoicing with the GPIRS and Ariba systems. Coordination of parts, shipping, materials with engineers, supply base, etc
Cross-Functional Communication with finance, purchasing, and other VHE teams / functions
