VSP+ team is seeking a Business Analyst to support our mission of optimizing vendor performance and enhancing the value delivery of our premium account management service.
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to drive vendor performance analysis, service optimization, and revenue growth initiatives. This role will focus on identifying opportunities, measuring service impact, and developing scalable solutions for our VSP+ program. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics, business intelligence tools, and stakeholder management skills to surface actionable insights that drive program effectiveness and vendor success.
Key job responsibilities
1. Report Development & Enhancement
- Lead the development of new monthly performance reports based on vendor needs and market trends
- Collaborate with vendors to gather feedback and iterate on report content and format
- Drive automation and scalability of report generation processes
2. Vendor Performance Analytics & Optimization
- Analyze vendor performance metrics across various business dimensions (sales, inventory, pricing, etc.) to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain scorecards to track VSP+ program impact on vendor performance
- Partner with account managers to create data-driven action plans for vendor optimization
- Conduct comparative analysis between VSP+ and non-VSP+ vendors to quantify program value
3. Service Impact Measurement & Enhancement
- Analyze monthly report utilization and engagement metrics to optimize report content and delivery
- Identify opportunities to scale and automate service delivery while maintaining quality
- Create ROI models to demonstrate program value to internal stakeholders and prospective vendors
4. Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting
- Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports tracking key program metrics and vendor performance
- Transform complex vendor data into actionable insights for account managers and leadership
- Create compelling data visualizations and narratives for program reviews and business cases
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with account management teams to understand service delivery challenges and opportunities
- Work with technical teams to enhance data accessibility and reporting automation
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop data-backed value propositions
