Autodesk’s Construction Strategy & Partnerships team is seeking a strategic, technically skilled Business Analyst to lead the development of a connected construction ecosystem, blending Autodesk’s proprietary data with external market intelligence.
This role supports sales, marketing, and other go-to-market efforts by delivering dashboards, data models, and pipelines that map the construction landscape: owners, GCs, subcontractors, through construction projects. You’ll also develop specific pre-con ecosystem views along with project-based views and manage the technical relationship with external data vendors, including APIs and data pipelines, to ensure data quality, availability, and integration into Autodesk’s ecosystem.
This role involves supporting various geographic regions, which requires coordination across time zones and the ability to provide support and travel both domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
Transform data into consumable and actionable insights, and build easy-to-consume dashboards, to support Autodesk Construction’s ecosystem strategy and drive sales.
Design and maintain the internal ecosystem view across different phases of construction (i.e. pre-con, build, etc.) using Autodesk data (product usage, customer engagement, account activity)
Build and operationalize the external ecosystem view, mapping third-party construction project data to Autodesk users, accounts, and market activity.
Develop and maintain project-based intelligence views to identify active and upcoming construction projects and link them to Autodesk opportunities.
Coordinate development of scalable data models and collaborate with vendors and data engineering teams to ensure robust ETL/ELT workflows.
Operationalize ecosystem plays through enablement strategies, adoption plans, and educate sales teams on interpreting data and using it to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Ensure adherence to data compliance and usability standards, and systematically collect and integrate feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in business/data analytics, strategy, or technical program management
Strong experience with SQL, relational data modeling, and business intelligence
Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
Experience integrating and managing external data sources, including APIs, pipelines, and vendor partnerships
Strong project management skills and experience driving cross-functional initiatives
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and present to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with construction project data (e.g., Dodge, ConstructConnect, BuildingConnected)
Understanding of the AEC technology ecosystem and Autodesk Construction Cloud
Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and stakeholder needs
