The International Expansions (IE) organization’s charter is to rapidly expand Amazon’s retail presence globally, partnering closely with category management, technology, and product teams across Amazon, to deliver the world’s largest selection to our international customers. Within IE organization, our team's vision is to bring Amazon to customers in 150+ countries around the world and build the tools and features that enable our vendors and sellers to go global effortlessly, as well as drive customer engagement and ensure our success in new and emerging marketplaces.
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and help unlock insights which take our team to the next level. The ideal candidate will be excited about understanding and implementing new and repeatable processes and providing data to improve our launch experiences. They will do this by partnering with key stakeholders to be curious and comfortable digging deep into the business challenges to understand and identify insights that will enable us to figure out standards to improve our ability to globally scale this program. They will be comfortable delivering/presenting these recommended solutions by retrieving and integrating artifacts in a format that is immediately useful to improve the business decision-making process. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as an outstanding business acumen. The ideal candidate knows and loves our customers (internal and external) and will work back from the customer to create structured processes for global expansions work and help integrate new countries. They are experts in partnering and earning trust with operations/business leaders to drive these key business decisions.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive data-informed decision making through complex analysis of business processes and metrics
• Design and implement analytical solutions that inform team strategy and reveal new opportunities
• Develop and maintain dashboards, automated processes, and one-time analyses as needed
• Execute sophisticated data analysis using SQL, spreadsheets, and visualization tools
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver high-quality solutions
• Monitor and analyze key business metrics to maintain awareness of performance trends
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency
• Contribute to team strategy and roadmap planning
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale data analysis with knowledge of business intelligence tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
