Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analysis Group Manager for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Perform data mapping to document technical requirements at both the source and target locations, along with logic/derivations required for development to perform coding within the ETL process. Write complex SQL queries to extract data for data profiling, analysis, and validation to determine/document solution for issue and research and understand downstream impacts of changes. Supply complex SQL queries and validate code logic. Perform Root Cause Analysis of Data Issues. Interpret data transformations from coding logic to determine how the data is being handled currently and why. Collaborate with IT partners to estimate and secure capacity for data efforts. Understand the current Data Management Policy and support Data Governance peers to fulfill required documentation/processes in support of the data flow including data lineage, data quality, technical metadata, business data dictionary and data controls. Gather data requirements from business stakeholders and engage resources required to ensure requirements are clear. Deliver new data requirements from systems of origin, through the system of records, to the desired location or downstream consumer. Resolve cross-functional issues. Work with business to align and optimize data BOW. Report on data team’s status and activities to business and IT stakeholders. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related field and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Lead, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, IT Business Lead Analyst, Architect, Senior Technical Lead, Senior Consultant, Associate, Senior Analyst, Senior Software Engineer, Systems Engineer or related position involving ETL solutions design & data architecture. 7 years of experience must include: Data mapping for varied system interfaces; SQL, Data Quality & Data Profiling, Oracle, SQL Server & Big Data; Metadata management; OLAP technologies and Dimensional Modeling; Extracting data from operational source systems and provisioning to OLTP/data warehouse environments; and Software project planning and estimation.
