As a Business Aligned Incentive Comp User Acceptance Tester, Senior Associate within the Chase Business Aligned Incentive Administration team, you will play a crucial role in testing the iComp applications used to administrate and pay business aligned incentives across JPMorganChase. You will analyze business and functional requirements, identify test scenarios, and lead the system integrated and user acceptance testing process to ensure end-user requirements are met. You will collaborate closely with Incentive Administration LOB teams to meet quality expectations, schedule and prioritize work, and develop automated test scripts for regression testing. This role offers the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of incentive plans and work with global teams in a dynamic environment.
Job responsibilities
Analyze Business and Functional requirements, identifying test scenarios based on business processLeads and/or participates in the system integrated and user acceptance testing process following procedures to ensure that end-user requirements are metWorks closely with Incentive Administration LOB teams to ensure quality expectations are understood and metSchedules and prioritizes work and activities to meet target schedule, quality and scopeWrite test scenarios and test scripts for each initiative, and review the scenarios/scripts with key stakeholders for feedback and alignmentTroubleshoot, triage and communicate defects found, and verify fixes align with expectationsPrepare files/event handling/new hires in proper format in a timely manner to execute test casesLoad requirements and test scripts to qTest, link requirements and scripts, pull in test scripts to the proper Test Execution folders for each releaseUpdate qTest scripts/JIRA stories as testing is performed with actual results and status of testing, load artifacts into repositoryDevelop and implement automated test scripts for regression testing, ensuring thorough validation and quality assurance. Execute these scripts in alignment with each monthly release cycleContinue to enhance knowledge of the incentive plans as new changes are introduced, including terms and conditions
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
5 or more years of experience in quality assurance or user acceptance testing2 years of experience in leading testing projects and scopeExperience of testing lifecycle with Agile methodologyDemonstrated experience in test planning, test design and test executionExperience with writing, developing, and executing test strategy, test plans & test casesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present test planning and findings to the LOBs, IA and ManagementStrong troubleshooting skills with various applications and data filesProven ability to meet timelines without sacrificing work quality and attention to detailProven ability to work independentlyProven ability to build strong partnerships, collaborative A+ team playerBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Incentive Compensation tools or Oracle HCM/ICM Cloud experience a plusExperience with Incentive plans for CWM, Home Lending, Commercial Term Lending, US Funds, Private Client Relationship Manager, Consumer banking a plusExperience with systems conversion Test planning and test execution a plusIntermediate Knowledge of testing tools qTest, Jira and Confluence toolsAdvanced Knowledge in creating documentation using Excel, PowerPoint, and WordKnowledge and experience in working with Cloud based applications is a plusAbility to react well to change, work with global teams
