Key Responsibilities
• Manage and execute export and domestic dispatches, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.• Prepare, track, and reconcile Job Work Challans for goods sent to and received from job workers.• Handle shipments under GR Waiver (temporary and permanent exports) with proper documentation and coordination with customs authorities.• Manage re-import of shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and GST regulations.• Oversee scrap sales dispatches, ensuring proper documentation and accounting compliance.• Conduct periodic review of dispatch-related General Ledger (GL) accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.• Verify and validate transporter invoices for freight, handling, and related charges.• Review customer orders for correct cost allocation and alignment with commercial terms.• Ensure compliance with international shipping laws, customs regulations, GST guidelines, and other statutory requirements.• Prepare and publish MIS reports and dashboards for management.• Work extensively on SAP (SD/MM/FI modules) for order processing, dispatch tracking, invoice verification, and reconciliation.• Support internal and external audits (ICFR, GST, IFRS, CFA, and other statutory audits) by providing reconciliations, data, and documentation.• Assist in implementing and monitoring internal controls related to dispatch, logistics, and accounting processes.• Maintain accurate records, reports, and audit trails of all dispatch and shipping activities.• Communicate effectively with overseas customers, freight forwarders, and customs officials, ensuring smooth resolution of queries and shipment issues.• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen compliance.
Key Requirements: -• Bachelor’s degree in commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.• 7–10 years of relevant experience in dispatch, logistic with exposure to export-import processes, re-import shipments, and statutory audits preferred• Strong knowledge of international shipping laws, customs regulations, re-import procedures, and GST compliance.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Macros, Dashboard creation, Data Analysis)• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills, especially for dealing with overseas clients and partners.• Strong coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to work under strict timelines.• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines independently and as part of a team
