Integrates department services with the hospital’s primary function. Coordinates and integrates services within departments. Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support provisions of services. Supervises nursing staff and assures staff competency. Supports the development and marketing of current and new services and programs. Participates in outside source selection for needed services. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies. Provides for orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for persons in the department. **What qualifications you will need:** Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Masters prepared preferred. Knowledge/Professional Licensure/Registration/Certifications: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. Certifications in area of specialty and BCLS are required and must be maintained. ACLS is preferred. Experience: Three (3) years current clinical nursing experience required. Management Experience: Administrative Skills: Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organization and leadership skills required. Equipment/Machine Skills: Basic computer knowledge required. Other Skills: Demonstrated leadership ability with the skill to educate others required.
