Duties Description The intern will learn basic investigatory tactics & follow Worker Protection cases through from initial interview with a claimant to data entry, investigation, & resolution. After being instructed on confidentiality, the intern will sort & organize case files, review & prepare investigatory docs & give an analysis of potential wage violations. The intern will utilize the Contractor Registry system to determine registry status of contractors. They will study the investigator's manual & evaluate possible updates given latest advances in technological systems & methodologies. After learning basic safety protocols, the intern will take part in one or more field visits to construction sites to assist in interviewing workers to identify potential violations of wage laws. Basic tasks will include data entry, conducting searches of the Contractor Registry database, completing claim intakes, & cataloging information to be archived. Near the conclusion of the assignment the intern will present to Central Office staff on opportunities for improvement as they relate to the investigators' manual.
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must be a student currently enrolled in upcoming/current college courses.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Ability to use SharePoint a plus.Knowledge of DocuSign technology helpful.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills preferred.
