TotalEnergies Marine Fuels is also committed to providing clean marine fuels, such as LNG to drive the decarbonisation of the marine industry in line with TotalEnergies' ambition of Net Zero by 2050.

The position requires constant and growing knowledge of the external working environment and opportunities including industry trends, understanding of clients and competitors, broader credit picture, etc.  

Activities

Join the Marine Division of the Marketing & Services Branch and become part of the Bunker Sales & Operations Team in Asia & Pacific.
As part of your function, you report to the Bunker Operations Manager for Asia Pacific.

Your scope of responsibilities is:

Operations for Asia Pacific

Responsible for day-to-day bunker operations (24/7) for Fuel oil & Gas oil, involving: contracts’ management, scheduling, timely nominations, vetting procedures, Q&Q claims, demurrage, inspections, input data in our trading system (volumes, dates, price and costs), confirm back-office invoices. Prompt transmission of information to Bunker Traders of any change in schedules leading to hedging risk optimizationOperate TC effectively, which involves managing the barge turns, BOU, minimise oil loss on both loading and delivery fronts, maximise quantity while loading to reduce mooring and pilotage costs, manage ship operator relationship, coordinate feedback/ actions to relevant parties (technical, HSE, legal, commercial, management, etc.)Maintain and update files for all types of bunker claims (quality, quantity, demurrage), as well as economic statistics (KPIs) on our activity performance when freighting barges (T/C or COA)Ensure business continuity: capable of swapping portfolio among operators to gain experience and absorb peak load of work per zoneUpdate the bunker operations proceduresAssist reporting manager in projects relating to renewables

Collaboration, planning, communications, and reporting

Ensure coordination with TotalEnergies entities, port authorities, agents, barge companies, suppliers and clients to physically load/ deliver nominated quantities; Trigger anomaly in quantity tolerance to Bunker Traders, in view of potential hedging interests/ risks.\Participate actively in team meetings such as business and strategic reviews, internal workshops, etc.

Report anomalies, near misses, share best practices and provide feedback on HSE findingsMonitor and implement corrective actions on spills Candidate Profile You have a diploma or bachelor degree in maritime business, with 1 to 3 years of professional experience in bunkering, trading and/or shipping operationsYou are proactive and capable of taking initiative to suggest improvements to procedures and find new solutions to pressing issuesYou are rigorous, with strict enforcement of procedures and attention to detailYou are a team-player with the ability to thrive with high-paced environment and workload, including travels where necessaryStrong command of verbal and written English  Additional Information TotalEnergies values diversity, promotes individual growth and offers equal opportunity careers.
