This is a full-time, hourly position.
Job Summary
The Bulk Truck Receiving/Shipping Operator ensures a uniform method of receiving and handling bulk components to verify that the material received matches the ingredient ordered to maintain the purity of ingredients during unloading and routing.
Job DescriptionWeigh bulk loads and tare trucks by using the truck scaleCheck the freight bill or the bill of lading with the purchase order to determine that the product was ordered for ADM Alliance NutritionCommunicate ADM’s safety and quality expectations with drivers and ensure they remain compliant while on ADM property.Complete bin inventory as required or necessary.Close bulk tickets properly.Operate the WEM bin and bulk loadout systems.Read the bulk usage report and verify with Production Supervisor to determine which bins to unload product intoInspect material before unloading for wetness and foreign particlesInspect the bulk unloading system after unloading/loading a truck ensuring the system is clean preventing any cross contaminationProvide visual inspections of trucks to prevent cross contaminationObtain product samples as neededResponsible for ensuring area is kept cleanMaintain bulk load receipt spreadsheet in Microsoft ExcelAdhere to the bulk load out & bulk receiving SOP.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent3-5 years of manufacturing and/or warehousing experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to read and have basic math skillsADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
