Overview As a Building Maintenance Crew Member, you will play a key role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our resort facilities. Working as part of the Building Maintenance team, you will assist with general repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor construction projects to ensure a high standard of upkeep throughout the property. Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and hardware repair. Assist in preventative maintenance efforts to reduce downtime and avoid costly future repairs. Respond to maintenance work orders and complete tasks in a timely, professional manner. Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and other maintenance equipment. Support other departments and projects as needed, including occasional event setup and facility prep. Qualifications What we are looking for: Basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting skills with a general understanding of repair methods. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and the ability to estimate materials, time, and resources needed for repairs. Wage and Benefit Info: The wage range for this positions is: from $24.00 to $30.00 DOE This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
