\nPosition: First (1st) Shift Building Maintenance Tech
Shift: 8:00am –; 4:30pm, Monday-Friday Overtime required based on business needs.
Pay: $22.00per hour + $2.25 per hour freezer premium
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Skills and experience performing building, equipment and facility repair and installation maintenance duties within a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment. Able to use mechanical and hand tools.
\n-***This position is in a COOLER and FREEZER (sub-zero) work environment. The work shift will be up to 75% time spent in a Cooler environment of 35 degrees Fahrenheit and 25% time spent in a SUB-ZERO -10 degree Fahrenheit work environment. Cold/Freezer gear will be provided.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain HVAC system.Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.Carry out preventative maintenance programs.Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.Answer security/alarm calls as needed.Required Education and Experience:
2+ years of previous facility maintenance experienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent, preferredOur Organization is an equal opportunity employer.
