SUMMARY
The B&G Group Lead is an hourly position, and reports to the EHS Leader. The employee is responsible for the accomplishment of the work performed by the Building and Grounds Attendants under the direction of the EHS Leader. The employee leads and assists and performs clean-up and changes filters in the fiber fume bed; cleans, paints, and maintains the building and grounds and equipment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow and enforce all safety, environmental and health rules and procedures, training, and initiatives.
Leads and assists the duties of the Building and Grounds Attendants who clean and maintain the buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Responsible for writing the order and acquiring materials needed for any job.
Prepares sketches of the grounds or areas.
Enters Notifications into maintenance systems, reports any equipment problems and takes actions to get the issue resolved.
Coordinates with vendors/contractors regarding building and grounds projects, when necessary.
Ensures clean and orderly housekeeping in all assigned areas at all times, including common areas like restrooms and breakrooms.
Maintain the Building, Grounds and Equipment by applying the principles of TPM with a strong focus on 5S: Sorting, Setting in Order, Shinning, Standardizing and Sustaining. (General training)
Train and certify to operate Aerial Lift, Forklift, and other PIV equipment.
Involved with the plant’s recycling initiatives.
Maintains regular onsite attendance.
May be required to perform payroll duties for Building and Grounds Attendants.
Supports Operations leadership with coverage needs, as necessary.
Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by the plant leaders.

The employee must be able to:
Operate a computer or other keyboard instrument
Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
Basic understanding of SAP desired
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:
High School Diploma or GED equivalency
Some manufacturing experience is preferred.
HVAC certification is preferred.
Related experience and/or training in an industrial environment
Must be 18 years old or older
