Maintain the building automation systems for multiple locations, including completing any repair and installation work that is required. Maintaining accurate documentation of the current states of the building automation systems, including all sequences of operation and as built drawings. Consult with and assist other facilities in North America on their building automation systems. Assist with other maintenance activities, such as building rounds and mechanical equipment maintenance, as required by department leadership.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with programming, job start-up and checkout, and troubleshooting of building automation systemsFamiliarity and/or experience with Johnson Controls Metasys and Niagara Building Automation System platformsStrong knowledge and understanding of the tools and techniques used to maintain, diagnose problems, and repair HVAC/R equipmentAbility to diagnose and repair complex control systemsAbility to troubleshoot building equipment issuesExtensive knowledge of multiple DDC systemsFamiliarity with Electrical Safe Work PracticesPrevious aerial work platform operation certificationLockout/Tagout (LOTO) program familiarityPreferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Arc Flash Safety programs (NFPA 70E)EPA 608 Certification (Universal is preferred)Previous forklift operation certificationVariable Frequency Drive troubleshooting and programming experienceExperience repairing mechanical equipment – i.e. Air Handling EquipmentExperience working in teamsState of Michigan Mechanical Contractor LicenseContinuous Improvement Process (CIP) experienceAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans.
