What you will do as a Building Automation Systems Project Management InternDuring this 10-week internship program, you will rotate through various departments at the local branch office, focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure80% of your time will be spent on project management-related activities (learning how to manage a construction project, on-the-job training, and shadowing, etc.)10% of your time with be spent with the sales department learning how we go-to-market and sell our solutions and services10% of your time will be spent in our service department, focusing on the service-related tasks needed to deliver world-class service to Siemens customersYou may get experience rotating through our core business segments, which include HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Security, and Energy/Sustainability Systems Responsibilities while working alongside current Project Managers and Associate Project Manager, you will: Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish a project delivery planDevelop and maintain a project schedule, as well as coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation needsManage the procurement of supplies and materials to complete projectsParticipate in project cost reviewsTrack labor resources and project progressPursue project-specific change-order opportunitiesComplete project-specific close-out documentationRotate through other departments within the branch office to learn about how our branch organization operates as a whole The goal of this internship program is to develop future talent for the Siemens organization and help you identify where you may be interested in pursuing a career at Siemens post-graduation. Pursing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment.Rising Senior, graduating between August 2026 – August 2027.Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August)There is no relocation or housing stipend for this programThis program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.
