Job Title: Building Attendant - Hospital
Department: CPH Environmental Services
Location: Canton Potsdam Hospital
Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours weekly
Schedule: 7.5 hour shifts, 3 pm to 11 pm; Variable day, every other weekend and holiday coverage
SUMMARY:
Maintain sanitary and attractive surroundings, provide excellent customer service, and comply with safety/regulatory guidelines. Comply with OSHA and MSDS practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Removal and disposal of trash and waste product
Clean patient rooms, operating rooms, restrooms, offices and hospital common areas within established departmental standards
Maintain floors, strip and wax floors; shampoo carpets according to scheduled maintenance
standards
Maintain walkways to ensure safe access
Respond to visitor, patient and staff requests for assistance
Maintain knowledge of OSHA and MSDS practices
High focus on customer and patient satisfaction
Working as a team towards accomplishing departmental goals
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
6 Months industrial/ institutional cleaning experience.

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.

PAY RANGE:
$17.74 - $25.22The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
