Job Description

Join our team at a luxurious resort in Villa Haven, Maldives, as a Buggy Mechanic! We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient professional to maintain and repair our fleet of golf carts and buggies, ensuring smooth transportation for our guests across our picturesque property.

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on buggies and other vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safetyConduct thorough inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issuesExecute timely repairs and replacements of faulty componentsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventoryManage and organize spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levelsCollaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance and minimize disruptions to guest servicesRespond promptly to breakdown calls and provide on-the-spot repairs when possibleAdhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in buggy or golf cart maintenanceProven skills in mechanical repair and maintenance of  buggies and other vehiclesStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for both mechanical and electrical systemsProficiency in using hand and power toolsFamiliarity with various buggy models and brandsBasic computer skills for inventory management and record-keepingHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive or small engine repair preferredValid driver's licenseExperience in a resort or hospitality setting is a plusUnderstanding of resort operations and guest servicesAbility to work efficiently in a tropical climateStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management and ability to prioritize tasksGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
