Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $62,000.00 - $73,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to develop and manage reporting for the Bank Operations Division by leveraging various systems and tools. This role supports strategic decision-making through data analysis, report design, and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

Essential Functions

Conduct data mining, report design, and perform in depth data analysis to provide actionable insights that support strategic planning and helps the business units make decisions

Participate in the day-to-day maintenance of more complex applications including system parameters, permissions, training and support

Facilitate collaboration between business to business and business to customer relations

Provide operational analysis, financial insight, and project support while maintaining internal controls across multiple Bank Operations teams

Conduct performance analysis and apply troubleshooting techniques to support effective problem solving

Apply data visualization to reporting needs

Develop and track reporting and key operational metrics to evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of both current and future customer needs

Assist with reporting and operational performance tracking to support strategic decision-making

Execute accurate and timely monthly reports and processes supporting internal management

Identify and implement process improvements, including but not limited to the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports and implementing solutions spanning across multiple teams within the organization

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Intermediate knowledge of data administration and project management

Intermediate familiarity of networks, mainframe, file transfer protocol, web services and project management software

Intermediate understanding of database structure and ability to learn basic query writing using Crystal Reports and utilizing ODBC

Ability to look for ways to automate, build processes and reports with future scalability in mind

Create and maintain quality documentation on processes and procedures

Intermediate understanding of relational databases and extracting data from a data warehouse

Ability to take a collaborative approach in cross training team members and knowledge sharing

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities including various customer requests

Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Intermediate level proficiency w Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Visio and Outlook

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Bi, and Power Apps

Intermediate level of proficiency with Python and SQL

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Data Analytics or equivalent combination of education and experience required

3+ years business analyst and/or data analysis experience preferred

1+ years of prior experience using BI tools such as Power BI required

1+ years of prior experience working with budget software, trend analysis methodologies and data manipulation, preferably within banking accounting/operations required

**Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 days per week

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $62,000 to $73,000 annually.
