Role Overview Reporting to the Public Service Manager 2, the Budget Analyst 2 will play a pivotal role in the Administrative Services division provide budgeting, accounting, and reporting services for WRC. Key Responsibilities + Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare all financial reports. Collect and analyze budget and fiscal data. Initiate and enter budget information into the Iowa Advantage system. Work with HHS central office to meet financial goals. Prepare and submit year end reports verifying accuracy of the data. + Quality Assurance: Monitor receipts of MCO revenue by preparing and submitting the Iowa Advantage Cash Receipt and supporting documentation for Medicaid payments from Managed Care Organizations (MCO) and Iowa Medicaid Enterprise (IME). Verify invoice information has been entered correctly; review attachments to confirm receiving and authorization for the goods or services is included with the invoice. + Interdepartmental Collaboration: Respond accurately and timely to questions from the HHS Cost Audit team, HHS central office, and state auditors. Following Treasurer of State guidelines, submit unclaimed property to the Great Iowa Treasurer Hunt. Provide special funds/donated funds report to WRC Cashier and WRC Assistant Superintendent of Administration monthly.
