Location: HYBRID MODEL - Remote & In-office - Provide services in-home (Sussex County)

Job Type/Status: Full Time

Salary: 55k annually(commensurate with education and/or experience)

Position Summary

The BSFT Regional Coordinator will play a key role in introducing the BSFT model to the family. They are crucial in the referral, enrollment, and data monitoring processes for the program. The Regional Coordinator will meet with families, in their homes, to support their understanding of and engagement in BSFT services. They will be required to have flexible hours based on family schedules. They will display cultural competency and sensitivity working with diverse populations. Overall, an ideal candidate will have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, time management skills, and the ability to learn and explain the BSFT model once trained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Development of Professional Self:

- Complete the Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT®) training series requirements which includes workshops.

- Display knowledge of the BSFT® model and be able to clearly articulate the therapeutic process of the model to a diverse population.

- Complete other hiring agency required trainings for onboarding purposes.

Provide In-Home Support:

- Schedule the first in home visit with the newly referred family in order to initiate the enrollment process.

- Facilitate the enrollment process with the family through orienting them to the BSFT model, supporting assessments completed at intake, and gathering any additional pertinent information for the therapist.

- Provide additional information to the family on next steps and what to expect following enrollment, including assigned therapist.

- They will be available for additional supports as needed for the family to ensure fidelity to the BSFT model.

Teaming:

- Work effectively as a team member as well as independently in administrative tasks, BSFT treatment teams, and additional collaborative pathways.

- Works with DCP&P and all referral sources to initially review new referrals, ensure all supporting collateral documentation is received.

- Manage program referral waitlists within the organization's region.

- Assign received referrals to BSFT® Therapists within appropriate service timeframes.

- Facilitate communication among the family, therapist, and agency personnel when connecting them to recommended resources and community providers.

- Enhance discharge recommendations by providing supplementary information and suggesting additional resources.

- Collaborate with the Program Director and agency employees to ensure fidelity and adherence to BSFT® model.

Monitoring and Reporting:

- Complete documentation and maintain records congruent with the Brief Strategic Family Therapy model, DCF requirements, and any agency required documentation. - Provide program administrative support including data and reporting.

- Conduct outreach after a family's discharge to facilitate satisfaction surveys and collect outcomes data.

- Organizing and maintaining DCF required data.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelors Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. 

- Experience in parent and family support programs and/or the child welfare system is preferred.

- Driver's License Require)

- Ability to use personal vehicle for self-transportation

Flexibility:

The duties of this position require travel and flexibility in the scheduling of a family's in-home enrollment meeting, or at another location identified or requested by the family. This meeting could be scheduled in the evenings and/or weekends, as required to meet the needs of the family.
