Broadcast Engineer/IT Support

The Broadcast Engineer/IT Support assists in all aspects of the Engineering/IT Departments

Provide end user support for station personnel.Installs and tests new systems and technical infrastructure for the station.Minimizes service interruptions at times of equipment and/or system failure by rapidly identifying and implementing solutions.Installs and maintains IT network, switches, workstations, data backups, phones, and printers.Communicates with members of all departments to effectively resolve equipment and system issues.Collaborates with news crews to ensure successful productions and improve workflows.Manage user accounts and computers through Active Directory.Manage station computers and laptops using tools such as SCCM, InTune, Software Center, AutoPilot, etc.Provides quality support services and technical assistance for the News, Production, Creative Services, and Sales departments.Develop audio, video and IT solutions that meet end users’ requirements.

Requirements & Skills

Experience with digital transmitters, microwave equipment, and other broadcast-related equipmentAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong PC/MS Office experienceStrong troubleshooting skillsProfessional written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment/Mental/Physical Requirements: Position will require day-to-day multi-tasking, as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously with frequent change in direction and priority.
