Bridge Senior Field Inspection Technician

This exciting Senior Field Inspection Technician opportunity, will be based near our Sacramento, CA office at a project site with breathtaking views. You will be leading the bridge inspection efforts and helping to train other inspection and engineering staff for this project. Well, Jacobs is one of the largest engineering firms that delivers numerous large and complex civil and transportation projects and offers lots of exciting future opportunities for your career. * At least 15 - 20 years of experience as a structural inspector or related position * Experience inspecting bridge construction, specifically monitoring rebar placement, concrete pours, post-tensioning operations, and grouting procedures * Strong technical skills in concrete bridge construction * A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with others * Desire to grow personally as well as professionally * Self-motivated professional Ideally, you'll also have: * Knowledge of Caltrans construction inspection manuals, procedures, and practices * Demonstrated experience inspecting at least one concrete box girder bridge constructed by CIP or precast balanced cantilever construction in the last 15 years Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
