PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Are you ready to build the backbone of North America's rail network? As a Bridge, you'll work outdoors with a hands-on crew, helping to maintain and construct railway bridges and structures that keep freight and passengers moving safely across the country. In this role, you'll assist with replacing or repairing worn or damaged components and help build new timber, concrete, and steel structures—including bridges and culverts. Whether you're restoring historic spans or assembling modern infrastructure, you'll gain valuable experience in structural work, teamwork, and safety practices.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assist tradespeople in the performance of their duties Maintain and install culverts Support new bridge construction and structural repairs Perform maintenance on steel, timber and concrete bridges Assist in rigging and lifting operations Work outdoors in all weather conditions Travel and stay away from home for extended periods Follow safety protocols and work effectively within a team
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general equivalency Valid driver’s license Willingness to work flexible shifts and at heights with proper fall protection equipment Experience working outdoors in varying conditions Comfortable using radios and phones with strong English communication skills Skilled with common hand and power tools
