The company is in the process of establishing the Transportation Global Practice in Mumbai office mainly to serve the transportation market in North America region. This group will eventually provide engineering services for projects which include but not limited to roadways, highways, bridges, railroad, and traffic signaling systems. We are looking for an experienced and energetic Structural Engineer to join our Transportation team in Mumbai office to lead and support Bridge design activities on projects mainly in North America region. The successful candidate will report to a Section Manager and will assist in building the Bridge design team to support future transportation projects across the global practice. * Key Responsibilities: o Analysis, design, and plan production for steel and prestressed concrete Superstructures/ substructures of bridge projects. o Hydraulic Analysis of Bridges. o Haunch design and deflection diagram o Foundation design of all types for Bridges. o Design of RCC retaining walls. o Works with existing standards, budgets, and schedules. Takes the initiative to get the job done on time and with consistent accuracy. o Prepare designs, specifications, or estimates for transportation facilities. o Geotechnical report review, analysis and provide comments/clarifications. o Receives technical guidance on uncommon or complex structural problems with supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects. **Qualifications** Qualifications & Skillset: o Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized institution. Masters in Structural Engineering an added advantage. o Good analytical and problem-solving skills o Minimum 2 years to 8 years of working experience in Transportation/Structural design. o Understanding of codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, AASHTO) and its applicability for practical design of Roads and Highways.
