About this role:

As a Physician in Breast Surgical Oncology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role you will join a growing breast surgery division with the opportunity to contribute to the development of a service-oriented breast surgery program across Salt Lake County. The ideal candidate will be passionate about breast surgery, collaborative in nature, and committed to advancing breast cancer care in our community.

You’ll practice at Intermountain Medical CenterYou’ll have at least two dedicated block days of surgery and two clinic days per weekYou’ll provide exclusive breast surgery care with no general surgery or ER call expectationsYou may need to cover call for your own patientsYou’ll participate in tumor boards and specialty breast cancer meetingsAPP hiring is under consideration to further support this roleCompetitive salary including incentive compensation, a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable)

Fellowship-training in Breast Surgical Oncology requiredMD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicineBoard Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery and/or Breast Surgical OncologyActive, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain oneAbility to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$7.25 - $999.99
