Job DescriptionThe Brand Strategy Director will play a critical role in driving measurable growth for both our clients and our business. This position requires deep agency experience and a strong understanding of how creative, media, and data intersect to build high-performing brands. The strategist will lead efforts across key accounts, strengthening client relationships, increasing retention, and supporting organic growth.
This role will also contribute significantly to new business efforts by crafting compelling strategic narratives and uncovering audience and category insights that set our proposals apart. They will collaborate closely with creative teams to shape messaging, with media teams to ensure campaigns reach the right audiences, and with analytics teams to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include formulating and presenting strategic recommendations to clients, coordinating internal resources to deliver strategy guidance, leading internal account planning exercises, and developing repeatable consulting frameworks that can be executed by RRD teams.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working independently and collaboratively. They can take high-level business challenges shared by clients, ask the right questions, and translate that input into actionable, insight-driven strategies. Whether working individually to develop a go-to-market plan or working cross-functionally with creative, media, data, and account teams, they know how to connect the dots and build strategies that solve real problems and drive results.

Bachelors degree in related discipline required.Graduate Degree. Higher education in data sciences, economics, analytic MBA, or similar graduate degree preferred.10+ years of marketing strategy experience and large client relationship managementSkills & Certifications:
Expert in developing compelling PowerPoint presentations that translate complex strategies into clear, actionable solutions, enabling both internal teams and clients to align, activate, and drive results.Demonstrated record of leading important marketing engagements and consulting initiatives for client organizations -- and building C Suite relationships. Ideally, this experience comes from both client side tenures and senior agency/consultancy experience.Deep expertise with all aspects of Marketing including strategic planning, data analytics, data management, marketing technology, designed testing, media optimization, etc.Experience with cultivating and maintaining client executive relationshipsFamiliarity with analytic methodologies and Data Science practices and their role in shapingmarketing strategyFamiliarity with Market Research techniques and strategiesAdditional InformationRRD's current salary range for this role is $141,000 to $225,600 / year. The salary range may be adjusted
based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the
future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and
compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency,
performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation
package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD’s benefit
