We are entering an exciting new phase in the evolution of our luxury brand, as we expand our presence in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland into a state-of-the-art three-site campus. Our Global HQ in Penrose, Distribution Centre in East Tāmaki and our world leading Global Experience Centre in the Grey Lynn.

As a Brand & Retail Experience Designer, you will create innovative design solutions for our retail spaces, aligned with the global brand guidelines for Fisher & Paykel, DCS, and Haier. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance our retail environments, continuously improving the customer experience.

You will instinctively operate based on a fundamental understanding of the best approach to a problem or project objective, utilise your expertise of core design systems to intuitively achieve great design outcomes, and naturally influence to get the right results through well-established cross-functional relationships. 

Your core responsibilities as a Brand & Retail Experience Designer include: 

Leading in-store retail design projects and creating high-quality retail channel solutions for our global market guidelines. 

Translating unique spatial briefs into concepts that meet our global market’s guideline intent. 

Upholding the integrity of our brands and identifying design improvement opportunities, ensuring design outputs align with brand guidelines across various platforms. 

Reviewing, prioritising, and executing design requests efficiently, effectively judging high leverage work. 

This is where you come in

You’ll have a bachelor’s degree in design, interior architecture, or a related field. You could come from a joinery design background or have worked in architectural drafting. The key requirement is technical capability with Revit for the creation of retail design concepts, along with a portfolio showcasing detailed and innovative spatial design projects. 

 

You’ll also come with the following experience: 

 

Experience in leading project delivery, including collaborating and influencing others against project objectives. 

Effective problem solving, relationship building and influencing skills, with the ability to interpret ambiguous needs / complex problems to deliver optimal designs and or solutions. 

Demonstrated experience in architectural design, spatial design or cabinetry design. 

Strong proficiency in design software such as Revit and Twinmotion. 

Experience in retail or brand experience design is a plus.
