Brand Protection Investigation Specialist
Meet the Team Cisco Brand Protection team protects Cisco, its customers, and its partners from the risks associated with grey market, service and warranty abuse, counterfeiting, and software theft. We lead channel partner audits to ensure our partners transact in accordance with Cisco policies. We also investigate suspected counterfeiting activities, software theft as well as service and warranty abuses. Finally, we partner with internal and external stakeholders to protect and enforce Cisco’s channel integrity. Your Impact When you work with us, you will be part of a highly empowered, global and cross-functional team. As a Junior Analyst, you will support Brand Protection’s team efforts in protecting and enforcing the channel’s integrity. You are based in Bangalore, India. You are a highly motivated, outspoken person with good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to establish required working relationships with key functions (e.g., sales, legal, finance, operations). You will act as agile team manager accountable for channel partner audits and compliance reviews that will be assigned to you. You will: * Manage investigations regarding gray market transactions, fraud, and counterfeit activities; * Manage channel compliance business reviews and sales transaction audits, demonstrating excellence in data analysis, interaction with customers, and Cisco management; * Develop and implement Cisco's Brand Protection strategies, including business intelligence, enforcement, product security, and channel program compliance; * Demonstrate investigative excellence and develop facts to support winning cases. Minimum Qualifications (Provide up to five (5) bullet points - * BA/BS degree or equivalent required; J.D., LLM, MBA, or Master's Degree preferred. CFE or other professional certification is a plus, but not required; * Experience conducting internal investigations involving fraud, with some combination of background in audit, compliance, law enforcement, legal, finance or accounting; * Excellent Data Analysis skills with advanced Excel, databases, ERP systems and investigative tools such as i2. Ability to use FinBi, Tableau and Salesforce applications is a plus; * Proficiency in English Preferred Qualifications (Provide up to five (5) bullet points: * Ability to prioritize competing demands in a dynamic environment and manage a high-volume case load; * Good writing and communication skills with some experience in public speaking and with interactions with Executives; * Team player with enthusiasm to share knowledge and information, respond quickly to urgent matters, execute with a "can-do" attitude, lead when needed, and thrive in collaborative culture; * Enthusiasm for cross-cultural working experience; * Other language skills are a plus. #WeAreCisco (This is the Standard and cannot be changed) #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
