This portfolio allows for experience working across an array of center store categories simultaneously which requires the ability to trend-spot within multiple consumer need states, prioritize activities and execute within greater complexity.
The Specialty Portfolio is made up of iconic brands like Campbell’s SpaghettiOs, Chunky Chili, Swanson Chicken, Campbell’s Gravy and Campbell’s Beans. This portfolio has the responsibility to deliver profitable and sustainable growth to fuel our division’s strategic plan.
As the Brand Manager on the Specialty Portfolio, you will:
Develop and deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) P&L commitments
Develop business and marketing plans using creative and critical thinking, in a complex and ambiguous environment
Coach and develop Sr. Associate Brand Manager and Marketing Coordinator
What you will do…
Set the AOP financial and volume commitments in partnership with the larger category team
Set marketing budgets and deliver P&L target Net Sales, Gross Margin and Marketing Contribution consistent with the group's overall financial commitments to the Company's growth agenda
In partnership with Demand Planning and Sales, generate monthly consumption and demand forecasts
Partner with Integrated Marketing Team to understand the performance and ROI of all marketing levers and optimizing investments throughout the course of the year
Identify untapped areas of demand within core categories to generate new product innovation ideas and manage end-to-end commercialization and in-market execution
Organizational development, including management and day-to-day coaching of Sr. Associate Brand Manager and Marketing Coordinator
Provide thought leadership to inspire greatness, divergent thinking, and ongoing inspiration for business building product and marketing ideas

Reports to Sr. Brand Manager, Mexican & Specialty
Manages 1 direct report, coaches Marketing Coordinator
Brand Marketers and Category Leadership across the Meals & Sauces portfolio
Consumer Experience/Activation COE
Cross-functional partners (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.)
What you will bring to the table… (Must Have)
Bachelor’s Degree Required
5+ years of relevant experience in consumer brand management
Strategic thinking ability and creative talent to bring breakthrough ideas to market
Strong analytic capability and project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills: highly collaborative with ability to build solid working partnerships across functional groups
It would be great if you have… (Nice to Have)
MBA strongly preferred
CPG experience strongly preferred
Food/Beverage industry experience a nice plus
Proven experience leading a team
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$126,800-$182,300Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
