Brand and Creative Manager
London/Hybrid
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Creative and Brand Manager to lead the development, positioning, and delivery of our creative vision and brand strategy for Rolls-Royce. This role requires a deep understanding of leading creative/design teams and agencies, brand development and management and development of a heritage brand’s identity, to ensure consistency across all channels, cross-functional collaboration and on-time delivery of projects to drive brand awareness, engagement and reputational growth.
This role is critical in driving integration of activities across Rolls-Royce and provides the opportunity to be part of a high-energy team, working to drive the transformation of Rolls-Royce at a pivotal point in its history. It is part of a team that has been formed to drive strategy and execution for our Channels & Content at Group level and across all three business divisions and the regions. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams of creative designers and agencies, developing, and growing a global brand, reputational positioning, brand strategies and developing global brand campaigns, while ensuring brand consistency and relevancy at the divisional and regional levels. This leadership position requires strong strategic, creative direction and team management skills to enhance brand equity, consumer engagement and business growth worldwide.

What you will be doing:
Global Brand Strategy & Positioning:
• Define and implement a long-term global brand strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure consistency in brand messaging, visual identity, and brand voice globally.
• Lead global brand portfolio management, ensuring effective positioning and differentiation.
• Develop and evolve brand architecture and portfolio strategy.
• Leverage data-driven insights to refine brand positioning and messaging globally.
• Partner with research agencies to conduct brand perception studies and customer segmentation analysis.
Campaign Development & Omnichannel Delivery:
• Oversee the creation and launch of global integrated brand campaigns, ensuring alignment across channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize global campaigns while maintaining brand consistency.
• Evaluate campaign performance, ROI, and engagement metrics to optimize future strategies.
• Lead initiatives to enhance brand storytelling and content marketing across channels.
Brand Governance & Collaboration:
• Define, evolve, and evangelise brand guidelines to ensure consistency across division and regions. Collaborate with divisions, marketing, and creative teams to align branding efforts and drive brand consistency and advocacy.
• Manage brand licensing and brand specific channels including brand portal, YouTube, Frame.IO and Flickr.
• Partner with agencies, media partners, and global stakeholders to implement brand initiatives.
Creative Direction and Operations:
• Lead creative vision of the brand, evolving where needed and guiding in-house creatives in development of innovative designs and assets.
• Oversee the daily operations of creative designers, ensuring brand consistency and seamless project execution from concept to delivery.
• Manage internal resources and external vendors (photographers, videographers, editors, freelancers).
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of branding and creative initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize future strategies.
• Prepare and present reports on brand performance and creative outcomes to senior leadership.
Contribution to the Communications function:
• Be a proactive member of a high-performing team where collaboration and embedding new ways of working across the Communications Team is required to deliver business-wide priorities.
• Champion use of creative and digital solutions across the function, helping colleagues consider how to best to communicate our brand in order to connect with our target audiences.
• Act as a brand expert to accelerate the Function’s shift to a more diverse use of channels and content ensuring brand is consistent in everything we do.
• Be able to influence leaders and colleagues based upon a clear knowledge of industry and peer best practice.
Who we’re looking for

For this role you will need to demonstrate understanding of the appliable health and safety standards and we are looking for someone who is/has:
• 7+ years of experience in brand management, preferably in a global or multi-market role.
• Strong expertise in brand development, positioning and consumer research.
• Experience managing large-scale global brand campaigns with a track record of success.
• Experience managing a team of in-house creatives, and external agencies, and providing creative vision.
• Experience with digital marketing, social media strategies, and omnichannel branding is a plus.
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable brand strategies.
• High-level stakeholder management skills, working collaboratively across departments and regional teams.
• Proficiency in brand analytics tools and digital marketing platforms.
• Strong background in managing agency relationships and large marketing budgets.
