If you're a whisky expert with a flair for education, an extensive network, and a passion for premium single malt culture, we invite you to join our team. **What You Can Expect** As our Scotch Single Malt Brand Ambassador, you'll embody these iconic whiskies, driving brand equity and consumer engagement through your expertise and unforgettable experiences. + Be the Portfolio Authority: Serve as the definitive expert on GlenDronach, Benriach, The Balvenie, and Glenfiddich. You'll share in-depth knowledge of each brand's unique history, production techniques, and relevant category trends with trade partners, distributors, media, consumers, and our sales team. + Design & Deliver Education: Implement and manage best-in-class, distinct, and proprietary brand education platforms and tools, with a particular focus on these premium Scotch single malts. + Lead Advocacy & Activation: + Spearhead all local advocacy activities for our Scotch Single Malt portfolio, including activations for prestigious events, brand sponsorships, trade shows, and whisky-focused events. + Lead the Bar Swapping and Guest Shift program across Japan, cultivating strong relationships within the on-premise community. + Build and maintain relationships with top-tier trade representatives, communities, and organizations to boost the mental and physical visibility of our Scotch Single Malt portfolio. + Cultivate Brand Love: Leverage deep market insights to forge memorable, long-term connections between our brands and discerning customers and consumers. + Engage & Educate: Conduct comprehensive training for B-F internal teams, distributor/trade staff, and consumers. Lead masterclasses and participate in bar/trade shows, reinforcing the specialness and authenticity of our Scotch Single Malts through captivating storytelling to increase brand consideration. + Innovate Drink Strategy: Partner with the Brand Team on drink strategy development, including crafting new cocktail developments and proposing innovative drink formats relevant to single malts. + Support Commercial Growth: Provide hands-on commercial and sales support for activations in key cities and outlets, which may include attending sales negotiations with the B-FJ Sales Team. + Generate Insights: Collect crucial market insights, trends, and competitor activity to inform the development of impactful trade and marketing plans. + Drive Digital Presence: Develop monthly social media content aligned with brand priorities, current activities, and drink strategies for our Scotch Single Malt portfolio. + Craft Brand Tools: Create compelling brand presentations, cocktail recipes/cards, and Point-of-Sale (POSM) materials. + Ensure Smooth Operations: Manage daily administrative tasks, including sample shipments and reporting. **What You Bring to the Table:** You're a highly collaborative, self-motivated individual with a genuine passion for the world of premium single malt whisky and a proven ability to connect with diverse audiences. + Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a related field, with a strong background in hospitality, marketing, or brand advocacy. + Industry Network: A robust, established network within the Japanese hospitality and spirits industry. + Deep Whisky Knowledge: Exceptional, technical knowledge of the global single malt whisky world, encompassing production methods, regions, and trends. + Language Fluency: Fluent in Japanese (both written and verbal) and Business-level English. + Market Insight: Strong understanding of the Japanese alcohol market and its dynamic bartending industry. + Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong, influential relationships. + Passion for Culture: Keen interest and passion for the On-Trade, single malt whisky, and cocktail culture. + Proactive & Owner-Minded: Possesses a strong sense of ownership and pride, with the ability to proactively propose ideas and strategic plans. + Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to communicate complex information clearly and deliver compelling, engaging presentations. + Team Player & Self-Starter: A highly collaborative team player who is also self-directed and self-driven. + Training Acumen: Proven ability to train and educate diverse audiences effectively. + Bartending Experience: Practical experience working as a bartender. + Compliance & Values: Unwavering commitment to compliance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and a deep understanding and embodiment of Brown-Forman's company values in all interactions. + Warm & Welcoming Style: A naturally warm, approachable, and engaging demeanor. \#LI Brown-Forman Corporation is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment.
