As a Product Manager in the Branch Workplace Technology (BWT) Strategy team, you will focus on driving stable, modern and innovative technology solutions that are accessible and easier to use for our customers and employees. Utilizing your deep understanding of retail technologies, you guide the successful implementation of technologies and ensure top-tier customer and branch employee experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology offerings that exceed customer expectations. In this role, you will lead the technology and hardware strategy within Consumer Bank, ensuring that we're identifying the right future technologies for our branches, clearing blockers, and communicating the impact of our work.
Job responsibilities
Develops a hardware strategy and vision that delivers value to our branch employees and customers Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability Create and manage repository to organize existing assets, vendor relationships, contractual agreements, and technology enablement strategies and timelines Drive a disciplined process to review technology requests and needs, focusing on tech refreshes, ongoing initiatives, and long-term innovation Conduct periodic reviews of the Book of Work (BOW) with stakeholders, tracking risks and issues Establish listening posts across channels to inform prioritization of the BWT team's Book of Work Review current metrics and inventories for accuracy, producing a scorecard of vendor performance Collaborate with stakeholders, sourcing, finance, and GTI leads to evaluate opportunities for operational and financial efficiencies in vendor costs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product strategy or a relevant domain area Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management Demonstrate a strong understanding of technology, including hardware, networking, and infrastructure, to enhance user experience Exhibit strong project management and time management skills to meet demanding timelines Showcase strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to both business and technical audiencesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization Demonstrate financial acumen and understanding of consumer banking technologies to execute strategic plans Deliver data-driven presentations using PowerPoint and Excel, showcasing innovative thinking Develop business process knowledge with a focus on risk management, and learn Agile principles and Jira Associate/bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
