This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong operational and financial competence. **Position Details:** + Reports to the Market Branch Manager + Direct oversight of 5 to 9 associates **Key Responsibilities:** + Oversee daily branch operations including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and customer service excellence. + Train, mentor, and manage warehouse and customer service staff to ensure high performance and team cohesion. + Step in to perform operational tasks such as shipping, receiving, and customer service when needed. + Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. + Manage branch P&L, budgeting, and capital planning to meet financial goals. + Cultivate strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams to drive business success. + Analyze performance metrics to find opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. + Handle all aspects of personnel management including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations. **Qualifications:** + Proven experience in branch or operations management, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment. + Strong leadership and team-building skills. + Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. + Proficiency in using data to drive decisions. + Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards. + Financial literacy with experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
