The responsibility of the Branch Manager to drive and support improvements in all aspects of the drawn wire operations including safety, customer service, quality ISO 9001:2015, and TPM management systems, while providing support to the branch's Mission and Vision. Responsible for coordinating and directing the components of Sales and Manufacturing to achieve the goals of the company. In addition, the Branch Manager performs any tasks related to the operations of this Branch as directed by the Director of Operations, Wire & Spring. This position may require occasional overtime and travel. So, what will you be doing as a Branch Manager? + Identify and stop further processing of non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality systems. + Take action to prevent non-conformities related to the product produced, services provided or the ISO 9001:2015 management system. + Make suggestions for improvement and verify the implementation of solutions. + Know the location of and understand control plans, work instructions and specifications. + Responsible for driving continuous profit improvements in all areas of responsibility. + Must drive Continuous Improvement through all aspects of the business. + Responsible for the Branch meeting the Organization's goals. + Ensures the Branch stays focused on meeting the customer's demands. + Oversee's all aspects of Branch operations. + Ensures efficient and effective utilization of machines, materials, methods, and labor to achieve production goals. + Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results. + Analyze workflows, labor, and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize cost. + Responsible for reviewing all labor opportunities. + Sustainment of employee morale. + Interaction with Research and Development division to continually improve machinery performance. + Responsible for the implementation and support of Quality programs and procedures. + Interact with customers to solve problems. + Review operations reporting and foresee problems with processes. + Torchbearer for the Branch Sales and Operational Planning (SOP) process. + Responsible for the Branch Projections and Capital request process. + Communicate continuously with all Sales and Manufacturing Branch partners. + Supervise the Branch Management Team. + Responsible for profit and Quality impact. + Responsible for people development. + Responsible for strategic thinking. To be successful in this role, you’ll need: + Good understanding of Customer Service and demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction. + Intimate knowledge of the manufacturing process used by the company. + Product familiarity, including the product structures. + Excellent leadership skills. + Multiple tasks oriented. + Ability to motivate employees to achieve company goals. + Good understanding of Continuous Improvement, ISO 9001:2015, and TPM systems. + Good communication skills.
