Branch Manager
Johnson Service Group is looking for an Operations Branch Manager with minimum 10 years of experience in pump and well systems, water infrastructure, or general management within a technical service company. This is a Direct Hire position in the Camarillo, CA area.

Reports to the President of the company.
Salary $150K


Job Summary: 
The Branch Manager oversees daily operations, team leadership, project execution, and customer satisfaction for  Company’s Camarillo branch. This role serves as the on-site leader, accountable for financial performance, safety, business development, and alignment with mission to be California’s most trusted water well and pump contractor. The Branch Manager plays a vital role in managing local teams, maintaining service excellence, and supporting long-term regional growth.
Supervisory Responsibilities:  Directly supervise project teams, field crews, and administrative staff. Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and development of team members. Ensure adherence to company safety standards, compliance protocols, and project quality controls.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight Lead all day-to-day operations, including project delivery, safety, scheduling, logistics, and field execution Implement EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) tools: L10s, scorecards, issue tracking Drive continuous improvement through standardization of processes and operational best practices
Financial Leadership Manage the branch P&L with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and meeting financial performance goals Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure accurate job costing, billing, and reporting Support pricing strategies, cost control measures, and margin optimization efforts Business Development Lead local sales and business development initiatives including CRM usage and key account engagement Work with the team to improve proposals and customer-facing presentations Identify and pursue growth opportunities in municipal, industrial, and agricultural markets Strategic Initiatives Support potential acquisition screening and onboarding when relevant Assist with new market entry and future branch expansion projects Establish vendor and subcontractor partnerships to enhance operational capability Leadership & Team Development Promote structured training and career development across the branch team Build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning Serve as a mentor and role model for field crews and office staff alike Miscellaneous Duties Represent at local community events and industry meetings Coordinate with corporate teams, including HR, Safety, IT, Fleet, and Finance on cross-functional initiatives Perform other duties as assigned by executive leadership
Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in pump and well systems, water infrastructure, or general management within a technical service company Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field Demonstrated success in leading teams and operations in a safety-critical environment  Strong understanding of business financials, forecasting, and KPI tracking Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and operational software (CRM, ERP, etc.) Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills  Servant-leader mindset and strong commitment to team development
Preferred Qualifications: EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) implementation or leadership experience Experience leading regional operations or scaling ranch performance Knowledge of California’s municipal, agricultural, and industrial water sectors Involvement in M&A integrations on new branch startup initiatives
