Here’s what you’d do:
The Branch Coordinator will support Branch Operations and Project Management in the execution of commercial landscape and irrigation projects.
You’d be responsible for:Assessing and exploring potential field labor pools that are available near and around each branch location within the region.Managing pipeline of potential employees and work with local branch management teams to anticipate, determine, and fulfill field labor recruiting needs.Coordinating pre-employment drug testing, conduct safety orientation, verifying work history, collect and submit new hire paperwork to Office Manager, and perform new hire orientations.Conducting interviews in both English and Spanish to qualify candidates.Conducting exit interviews and track reasons why field workforce level employees resign.Conducting training to prepare candidates for field work and monitor progress through first 90 days of employment.Using Estimating data to prepare product submittal packages, foreman’s project folders and Purchasing filesReceiving, evaluating and responding to project change directivesComparing plan revisions to original plans to help determine cost impactsCommunicating change to field teams and SubcontractorsDistributing important information to field teams and SubcontractorsPreparing routine estimates under the supervision of Project ManagementSourcing current and accurate prices from suppliers and subcontractors and ensure timely delivery to projectsPreparing transmittals, RFIs and client letters at the direction of Project ManagerUpdating submittal logs and Branch/job minutes per Company policyEnsuring that information and resources are available to field teams and that communication between field and office teams supports a great customer experienceDemonstrating key leadership behaviors in the presence of customers, and other team members every day You might be a good fit if you have:Landscape or similar construction industry experience preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills.Must have excellent computer skills.Must have a valid Driver's License.Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) with ability to read/write in both English and Spanish.Must be outgoing and self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.Minimum of 2 years of construction experience for landscape and irrigation projectsBachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management or related And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:An affinity for the outdoors and field servicesAbility to manage numerous time-sensitive matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Position may require significant travel throughout the assigned territory.Proficiency with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)Strong work ethicEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentCustomer service experienceBilingual (Spanish)Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off not required but considered a positive Here’s what to know about working here:Here at BrightView, we’re as passionate about caring for our clients as we are about caring for each other.
