**Clean Harbors** Project Services Group is seeking a **Branch Coordinator** to join our team. The **Branch Coordinator** is primarily responsible for putting together work crews for upcoming projects and visiting customer projects to make sure the job is started. After the project starts focus will shift to health & safety, employee training, supply management, securing coverage for emergency responses, and daily management of assignment of personnel on project sites.
**** Must be open and flexible to travel at any type of cadence. This position will also be required to work in the office as needed for sometimes weeks at a time or rotate out in the field to support major projects that are ongoing for up to 6 weeks at a time. Travel on short notice will be required on a consisten basis.**
**Location:** Bakersfield, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO. Other locations considered on a case-by-case basis.
**Pay:** $25-30 per HR- DOE, OT available on a consistent basis. Per Diem and all travel expenses covered.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Join a team with a focus on safely executing large technical remediation, environmental construction, and transportation and disposal projects across the country and internationally.
+ Work with a customer base across several business lines, including regulatory, government, and military.
+ Collaborate with other industry professionals across our Sales, Landfill, Incineration, Transportation, TSDF, and local office network leveraging the company’s turn-key approach to projects and customer service.
+ Travel to new locations to meet customers and field personnel and see projects in action.
+ Work with the support from administrators, senior managers, and other support personnel and teams.
+ Enforces the policies and procedures as it relates to Health & Safety. Will be measured off the districts health and safety record. Works closely with the Director of Health and Safety and VP of Site Services in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
+ Manages large scale field service and emergency response projects when directed.
+ Manages Field Service Technicians, Class A and Class B Drivers.
+ Acts as the on-call coordinator on an as needed basis.
+ Responds immediately when on-call or secures proper coverage and communicates replacement name to supervisor/manager.
+ Responsible for the inspection of the Service Center property on a daily basis to ensure the facility is clean and in compliance with federal, state or local laws, including “best in class” inspections.
+ Directs personnel in the operational procedures to complete assignments and understand manpower and equipment requirements to complete field service projects and emergency responses.
+ Evaluates approved trainings and solo approvals prior to assigning employees to projects and emergency assignments.
+ Acts as office liaison for the field service personnel in the field and has independent authority to determine who may or may not work on a given shift.
+ Ensures rolling stock equipment is properly maintained and permitted for operations.
+ Maintains proper inventory of equipment and supplies for current workload.
+ Maintains proper working order and maintenance for assigned company equipment and or vehicles.
+ Responsible for the proper completion of worksheets, vehicle inspections and equipment inspections.
+ Creates daily schedules for field service work and on call/Spill team.
+ Responsible for the inspection, requests for service and repair of equipment and material in the service center and ensures proper return of equipment on a daily basis.
+ Enforces and ensures OSHA, EPA and H&S standards or regulations are compliant
+ Ensures the timely reporting of work-related accidents or incidents to immediate supervisor.
+ Oversee and participate in the tracking of DOT Logs (hours of service) via daily review of Samsara
+ Additional annual reimbursement for maintaining certain licenses including a drone pilot’s license.
+ Paid training and tuition reimbursement plus paid continuing education opportunities.
+ Travel (25-50%) to various sites all over the country.
**What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required;
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred;
+ 3+ years of direct field experience in coordinating projects and crews;
+ Background in industrial environment is preferred;
+ Ability to work in a team environment and independently;
+ Proficient with computers, web navigation, MS Suite, Adobe Acrobat preferred;
+ **Valid Driver’s License and acceptable MVR required** ;
+ Ability to follow company policy on facial hair and getting fit for a respirator as needed, which could include shaving;
+ Knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
**Competencies**
+ Ability to work in a team environment and follow the direction of senior management.
+ Health and Safety degree or Safety-related certification.
+ Have or be able to obtain trainer status for First Aid/CPR, OSHA 30, and similar.
+ Proficient with computers, web navigation, MS Suite, Adobe Acrobat.
**Physical Requirements**
+ This position is physically demanding, and candidates must be able to navigate varying site conditions where steep slopes and rugged terrain may be present and walk several miles per day. Some strenuous manual labor, including shoveling, pushing large fabric rolls, installing construction and silt fencing, and lifting and moving pumps and other small equipment is required. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and wear personal protective equipment that may restrict movement when required.
+ Requires walking and standing for extended periods of time, sitting in equipment that may vibrate or jostle, climbing and working at heights, pulling/pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, crouching, and balance. Requires speaking, listening, understanding, and writing English; color determination, depth perception, clarity of vision, and 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected).
+ Maintains a clean and organized work environment, and a clean personal appearance. Facial hair must always comply with the company’s respiratory protection facial hair policy.
**Other Conditions of Employment**
+ Complete an employment application and satisfy all employment requirements.
+ Pass a comprehensive pre-employment after offer is accepted and annual fit for duty physical, drug screen, and background clearance.
+ Adhere to Clean Harbors’ policies/procedures and maintain current OSHA 40, RCRA, DOT, and other training.
+ Have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that is satisfactory to Clean Harbors and be approved to operate light duty vehicles.
+ Must always demonstrate a professional standard of conduct. Clean Harbors’ employees are expected to represent the company during their entire work rotation, on or off our project sites.
+ Must report to and work in the local office when needed or required.
